Wildpark Bruderhaus

The Wildpark Bruderhaus is a 6-hectare animal park in the middle of the Eschenberg Forest , south of Winterthur . The park is an important recreation area for Winterthur.

The park is engaged in rehabilitation projects for the Przewalski horse , the Vietnamese Sikahirsch and the Wisent . Already eight primordial horses were thus able to be released in the Gobi desert .

The Wildpark sees itself as a "meeting place between man and beast, as a home of threatened species, as a place for environmental education and for promoting the understanding of nature in general". The Wildpark Bruderhaus is open all year round, admission is free of charge. There is a restaurant in the Wildpark. The park is home to the following species: lynxes , wolves , bison , Vietnamese sikahirch , red deer , fallow deer , moufflons , wild boars and Przewalski horses .
